Introduction: An educator is an individual whose job is to convey required information to students. A professional educator is effective in everything they do and is responsible for creating an interactive learning environment. To do this, an educator should understand the requirements necessary to meet the goals and objectives of their curriculum, as well as the content. As much as an educator's job is to disseminate required information to students, it also ensures that all of these students' expectations are met and, if possible, exceeded. An educator uses a variety of teaching strategies that include classroom management to ensure the purpose of instruction is achieved. In this article I will demonstrate the responsibilities, knowledge and skills required of an effective professional educator. Literature Review: A professional educator creates a positive learning environment that benefits all students in the school. To do this, an educator must understand the principles of classroom management and use these strategies while interacting with students. The educator applies classroom organization skills to monitor students' mental, physical, and social growth. Effective classroom organization skills include planning, communication, and scheduling. Planning helps an educator determine daily activities that need to be accomplished. Through communication, an educator tells students exactly what will be required of them. Effective communication enables students to understand the goals and objectives of the programs of study they are undertaking. Planning helps in proper allocation of all available resources.
