The damage already tells us that the work has undergone various tests over time, but the style tells us otherwise. In addition to telling us that it is a sculpture of Dionysus, it tells us a little about culture. The naked Dionysus indicates a common practice among men, which is nudity. The sculptor depicted Dionysus with a slightly S-shaped body to show elegance and poise. But this image of elegance and composure seems to contrast with the true personality of Dionysus. As I was perusing the exhibit, I took the opportunity to find out which God's true nature is similar to my own by taking a quick quiz that matches a person's personality with the personality of a god. I was eventually matched with Dionysos, who apparently has an exuberant, opulent and extravagant nature, which I can definitely be most of the time. But I didn't get that vibe from the first time I saw his figurine, as God sculptures were made to exude elegance, poise, power, and overall perfection, which is really the recurring theme in every Greek and Roman sculpture. Therefore, the sculptor managed to interpret Dionysus from his perspective or make him appear the way he should
