Betrayal and lies have become the root of all evil today. People have made it a daily thing to lie and cheat on people just because they like to see people destroyed by misery. People also lie and cheat on people because of the jealousy they may feel towards them. The tragedy of Othello explains why some people are not trustworthy. Just because some people feel unhappy, they try everything in their power to make the other individual unhappy too. Enemies come in different colors, shapes and forms, making it difficult for you to choose who is worth trusting. The author uses characterization, conflict, and themes to tell the story of a person's deceitful ways and all the damage that being cheated on and lying does to people. Pain, misery and falsehood are a poignant description of Iago. Iago causes pain in many characters' lives because he is unhappy with his life; Therefore, Iago is the main problem in everyone's life. In Othello the main characters are Othello, Desdemona, Iago and Cassio. Iago causes a great conflict between Othello and Desdemona, along with Cassio and Othello. Iago causes all the conflict because he is angry at Othello for making Cassio lieutenant. After Iago put his plan into action, it drove Othello into a great depression, which caused Othello to do things he would never do with a pure mind. Othello will regret ever listening to the things Iago led him to believe. Othello began to feel like he couldn't live knowing that he had taken the life of the only person he loved for something he thought he could trust and had a close bond with. Little did Othello know that everything he was told was all a lie. In the end Othello hurt... middle of paper... always are. Some people will tell people many things that may seem right but are not and will cloud their judgment and make fun of them. You will never know what a person's agenda is because everyone's intentions are not always positive. Some people are born to create problems and bring pain, misery and hell into people's lives. That's why they say never believe everything you hear. My overall article is about how betrayal, lies, and jealousy can turn your life upside down and cause people to do things they may regret. Betrayal can cause problems for a person such as separation from family and friends, unexpected deaths, or loss of trust. Every day people are betrayed, hurt, and deceived by people with whom they have developed a close bond. They lie and hurt the people they will need when things get tough.
