Health and wellbeing are a top priority in today's provision of health and social care. The importance of promoting health and well-being is due to the dramatically increasing trend of morbidity and mortality due to health problems, illnesses and chronic diseases. Physiotherapists potentially have a significant role in the multidisciplinary arena of health promotion. Because physiotherapists can promote health in dynamic ways and contribute to the community. Health promotion to enable people who suffer from illnesses or have chronic conditions to improve their potential for a healthy life. “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not simply the absence of disease or infirmity.” (WHO), 1948) Well-being is a lifelong process of making appropriate decisions to fulfill life and become a healthier and happier human being. Well-being is multidimensional and includes physical, emotional, professional, spiritual, social, and intellectual elements (Barnett, 2011). many factors that need to be considered, to classify health and well-being. Several non-modifiable factors that influence health can be genetics, sex, race, age. Other factors such as personality, attitudes and thoughts that can influence lifestyle”. Individual health is closely linked to community health” (Healthy People 2010, 2000) the relationship within a social group, referring to their behaviors, orientations and contributions within the community, which involves their interests or needs of other people, as your overall health can affect your relationships with friends and family. Awareness of emotional changes, the ability to keep them under control, solve problems and deal with stress.
