For me, it wasn't right to turn these characteristics and skills into a career I would enjoy until I started meeting regularly with my high school counselor, La Mrs. Corbin. I met with Mrs. Corbin once a day for about an hour to receive my community service hours needed for graduation. Just like me, he has a passion for helping others and has accompanied me throughout my senior year. He showed me how to fill out college applications, helped me determine which college was best for me, we talked a lot about what major I should consider, and he gave me advice or just listened to what was going on in my life. She truly inspired me to take this path that I am today because I want to give others the help, love and support that she gave me. He recognized my desire to help others and my abilities as a “people person” and always said “You will miss your calling in life if you don't become some sort of consultant.” That phrase always
