Secret societies and conspiracy theories. The government is full of secrets, some of which are probably best left unknown because, if insulted, they could cause chaos across the nation. There are three well-known secret societies such as Skull and Bones, The Freemasons and The Illuminati. In today's society the Illuminati is the most well known secret society because of all the artists who claim to have made it because they initiated themselves into the secret society known as the Illuminati. There are also many conspiracy theories such as Denver Airport, 9/11, and the new world order. Some may or may not believe a word of it, but when some look at it more closely, it always leaves a question with an unknown answer. Skull and Bones was founded in 1832 and is a collegiate secret society at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. Skull and Bones was originally known as the Brotherhood of Death and is one of the oldest secret societies in the United States. Membership in this society is reserved only for a select few. Skull and Bones selects its few new members each spring as part of Yale University's "Tap Day" and has continued to do so since 1979. The society began including women in the early 1900s, Skull and Bones selects fifteen men and women of the junior class category to join their society, they “choose” those they consider leaders of the campus and important figures to its members. Even today, members of the society use Masonic-inspired rituals and meet every Thursday and Sunday every week in a building they call the "Tomb". The “Tomb” was built in three phases; the first wing was built in 1856, the second in 1903, then in 1912 the neo-Gothic towers were added to the back garden. A small enclosed courtyard in... middle of paper... After the burial of the building, workers were regularly sent to work in the underground buildings, but none of them were allowed to talk about the work they did. There were reports of armed guards downstairs not even letting airport workers pass with full access. One disturbing aspect of the airport are the strange murals around Denver International Airport. One such mural depicts infants and children dying at the hands of an authority figure carrying a sword, gun and wearing a gas mask. In another, young girls of different races lie dead in coffins. These murals in particular have been repainted in recent years. The DIA's public affairs office claims that these murals simply show the harsh effects of war and that one day we will have peace. So what do all these strange things mean for us? Could they mean nothing? For now, the conspiracy lives on.
