Topic > Analysis of Opera Scenes - 722

I am pleased to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the piece because not only did it provide me with a source of entertainment, but the visual performance also gave me more context for what the scene is trying to represent and how it relates to the main idea of the work. One source of humor incorporated into the play was at the beginning of the scene with the Fairy Queen, when the actor played a drunken man and stumbled while also trying to sing in an operatic style surrounded by singing fairies. This scene created a great contrast to the previous scene which consisted of an argument between the two main Fairy Queen characters, Oberon and Titania, over a boy Titania adopted. This shows the diversity of actors who can go from a light scene to a serious scene in question
