I am an introvert by nature who approaches almost everything from an analytical perspective. Although I consider myself a very positive person, many people, including my wife, tell me that my personality and method of expressing myself often make me seem insincere or indifferent about a situation. While this calm attitude works to my advantage in dynamic, high-intensity activities, such as managing battles in a combat environment, it clearly works to my disadvantage when dealing with people on a personal level. Throughout my twenty-six year career, xxxOne has been my mentor in my career. As a result, I didn't spend enough time mentoring others. Fortunately, the Air War College offers me many ways to work on improving my personality and how I project myself to others.
