With so many jobs in the world it's so hard to choose just one. Do you want to be an athlete or a doctor? You have to decide wisely because once you choose going back is a difficult task. Being a surgeon is the job I want to do as an adult. Being a surgeon can be difficult but it is worth it in the long run. This career caught my attention as a child. I would always watch these first aid programs and see these crazy tasks that they would have to go through, and through it all they would be calm and collective. Seeing a surgeon save someone's life inspires me to want to do the same thing. If I had the ability to save someone's life, it would allow me to see the world in a whole new way. More than 15 million people in the United States undergo surgery each year. That said, the need for surgeons will never decrease, as there will always be surgery to perform. A surgeon is always available every day of the year, he must be able to operate in some of the most pressured situations. Five things you need to understand when researching a career are: career description, historical perspective, salary, training, education and career progression. Surgeons have a lot to offer when it comes to their work. Surgeons are doctors who specialize in certain surgeries and operations. While being a surgeon, there are many subspecialties that a surgeon can pursue (field). Surgeons will diagnose and treat patients depending on their condition. They will perform a series of surgeries on every single part of the human body (“Surgeon”). It is important for a surgeon to know everything about a patient's medical history so that they can do their job to the best of their ability and also decide whether the patient needs surgery or not. They also have... half the paper... the hospital can move smoothly. All in all, being a surgeon has been my lifelong dream. As a surgeon you have to be prepared for everything every single day of every single year. Some may be able to handle it, some may not. Surgeons can probably do the hardest and most stressful work. They have another person's life in their hands and that person can live or die based on that surgeon's actions. The work is hard, the education is harder, but being able to endure it all and fight every day to reach my end goal makes it all worth it. Once I start I won't go back, being a surgeon is what I want to do, ever since I started high school I have had my eyes on this job and giving up is not an option. After learning all these things, I want to become a surgeon. This work saves lives and being able to do so will make my life precious.
