Topic > Description of a McDonald's restaurant - 1040

The exterior of McDonald's has the old awning which has the traditional red, yellow and white colors. The awning of this restaurant does not extend to the street and the restaurant has a large transparent window outside. Inside the restaurant it is different. This McDonald's also has updated colors and infrastructure. McDonald's isn't the biggest, but it's not the smallest either and it seems very up to par. The floor is made of dark brown type tiles with a black coating between the tiles. The restaurant also has a mix of tables and booths. The tables are positioned towards the windows. The tables have a circular shape and have a light beige color. The tables are supported by a black beam underneath. What was different about this McDonalds from the others is that these tables had leather chairs that you can sit on. From the way they look I think they were stuck to the floor. On one side the leather chair is black while on the other side of the beige table the chair is red. The booths were a light brown and were made of hard plastic and some of these booths were attached to the new green/yellow McDonalds chairs. The restaurant also has a mix of green hanging chandeliers. These chandeliers hung above the tables with leather chairs placed next to the windows. One new thing they had was some sort of umbrellas like the ones you hang on the window in some parts of the restaurant. They were rotating but had words like “chilled,” “beef,” “pepper,” and “tomato.” The shades were black while the words were a mix of the colors white, green, red and yellow. It caught my attention because I hadn't seen it in other McDonald's. There was also another model of lampshade, but it was made of wood and had... half of paper... on it. His jeans were dusty and so were his light orange-yellow Timberland boots. He had black and gray hair and had a tool belt around his waist. I only saw two staff members behind the counter working. They were both girls in their 20s. Both had similar characteristics: both wore the same McDonald's outfit which consisted of a black shirt, trousers and hat. Both had their hair pulled back into ponytails that came out of the back of their black McDonald's baseball caps. The cash registers they had were brand new as they could actually touch the screen. I didn't see a manager, but the guy who was preparing the burgers was a young black male also in his twenties who was wearing a black t-shirt as he slid the burger onto the metal trays. The janitor here also wore the black uniform and constantly cleaned the restaurant with the standard blue mop bucket.
