The democratic leadership style of group members takes a more participatory role in decision making [Kendra c]. it is more effective and leads to greater productivity, better contribution of group members and team morale. The qualities of a democratic leader are: 1. Experience different opinions: A democratic leader is encouraged and is sincere in seeking input from others in the group. Actively promotes the exchange of ideas. So everyone with different levels of knowledge and skills are able to express their opinions. Democratic leaders respect the opinions of others and take them into account when the final decision is made. 2. Effective delegates of democratic leaders have the ability to delegate, effectively complete tasks and assign responsibilities. A democratic leader is able to collect ideas presented in open and efficient group discussion, delegate tasks to individuals who are best suited to this role. He knows the strength and weakness of each person in the group. Your goal is to get the best result. 3. Has confident followers A democratic leader has confident followers who respect and admire him. It is influential so that these followers will trust and appreciate their decisions, listen to their opinions. 4. Guidance and Offers of Help Group members request help and guidance on an issue from the democratic leader who is responsible for providing it. Leaders are often friendly, helpful and trustworthy.
