Different types of athletes Between the indifferent and the protester, we find a wonderful creature called the athlete, whose species has varied into many different types; the marshmallow, the jelly and the rock. Athletes can be found everywhere: in the classroom, in the locker room, in the gym, in the heat of the game and in church. The places people won't find athletes are up late, in bars, missing church, in trouble, or disrespectful to elders. An athlete is made of wonderful things. Athletes have the eyes and fortitude of an architect, the muscles of a body builder, the speed of a bullet, the reflexes of a cat, the heart of a lion and the faith of a saint. For his coach, an athlete is a model player, a perfectionist to be encouraged, a student to teach and a dream that comes true. To his teammates an athlete is hard working, selfless, modest, determined and understands the meaning of teamwork. For himself the athlete is never good enough, aware of being an example for others, the reason why his team lost, but never the reason why he won. An athlete is an extraordinary being. People may not like him, but you have to admire his performance; doubt his abilities, but never his courage; question his efficiency, but never his efforts.
