Every day we consume genetically modified foods, whether we know it or not. You're probably eating something right now that has been modified in some way. Our country has been doing this for our food for some time, helping farmers and the American people benefit from this change. Although many have blocked this movement, the pros seem to outweigh the cons, making genetically modified foods something that will help us along with the rest of the world. Genetically modified foods were created for many reasons. Since the 1990s, scientists have created this superpower food to help farmers and the American people in many ways. A genetically modified food is that simple; they are foods whose DNA has been altered in the laboratory making them a “superfood”. With genetically modified foods we can harvest crops through drought, soil depletion, among other things that would not allow crops to be harvested.
