A role model is an individual you aspire to be like in the present or future. Role models can be a celebrity or someone we come into contact with on a daily basis. Furthermore, there are several characteristics that a role model should possess, such as: morale, trust, industriousness, respect, optimism, and creativity (Freddie, 2014). There are different types of role models in today's society, who play great social roles. These are prestigious individuals who are willing to help others find success too. A good role model demonstrates honesty and behaves in an ethnic manner. Therefore, I believe that a good model must be consistent with success and growth. Most importantly, a role model should be an educator, who is intelligent and has great character. As for that, I would choose Martin Luther King Jr. as my role model. Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and civil rights leader. However, Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous quote, "I have a dream: One day this nation will rise up and live the true meaning of its creed." In other words, the creed stated that we should be one nation under God. However, Caucasians and African Americans were not unified. Above all, Martin Luther King Jr. was a man of great faith, who strongly demonstrated and believed in the nature of God. Likewise, I believe that God is omnipotent, supernatural, and most importantly, the creator of all things. By faith, Martin Luther King Jr. and I have seen God move in miraculous ways, naturally and spiritually. In fact, I have witnessed the powerful act of God that brought unity to today's society, just as Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of. Furthermore, God teaches me every day how to love everyone, even my enemies. It is important to love all people... to be the focus of the card... in a technical or scientific way. In addition to those who possess intelligence, there must also be character in order to be considered truly cultured. In essence, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is a great role model for younger and older generations. Now we can appreciate those of the past and strive to make a difference in today's society.
