Imagine, it's the big day. You're about to take a test you've studied hard for, but you're stressed because you know you can pass or fail. By replacing the letter grade method of evaluating student performance with a pass-fail grading system, the student feels like everything is at stake and that it is all or nothing. This creates a lot of stress and anxiety and can prevent the student from performing to the best of their ability.
