You Can Escape a Black Hole: Amazing Informative Essay Have you ever had time to reflect and observe the night sky, conjecturing and dreaming about what lies beyond our planet? Our universe also known as the Milky Way is very diverse and unique. With many wondrous wonders, the Milky Way holds mysterious objects that are very difficult for the human mind to understand due to the numerous complications that arise when we try to examine and explore the principles of space. One of the greatest mysteries of the universe is that of the black hole, always indescribable. By definition, a black hole is a “celestial body so dense that light cannot escape its gravitational pull. It forms when a star's gravity causes it to collapse on itself. "(Oracle 1) There was a myth about black holes that caught my attention and in this essay I will discuss that myth and explain the truths and false parts of the myth. So the myth states that once caught by a hole black there is no escape. It is said that there is a great inward attraction of gravity, so overwhelming, that it allows any matter or energy to disappear from the universe, an article written by physics professor Tarun Biswas of Newpaltz State University, provides details and examples on how to escape the indestructible black hole. He states that "the no-exit myth has been believed by many individuals due to the misinterpretation of a geodesic feature within the hole. black" (Biswas 1). Dr. Tarun explains that an object entering the atmosphere of a black hole at any angle will be attracted very much to the center of the black hole due to its geodesics (geometry of curves). The geodesic is defined as the shortest possible line between two points. Although the...... half of the document...... improves our knowledge of what is in space but will also help our nation and the world in terms of resources and energy.
