Investigation Plan The aim of this investigation is to analyze the extent to which Margret Thatcher, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, had an impact on the British economy from 1997 to 1990. This analysis will examine themes revolving around her impact on trade unions, tax rates, its impact on unemployment in the UK and its role in the Lawson Boom in the 1980s. However, how other neighboring countries besides the United States were affected by Margaret Thatcher's rise to power will not be investigated. To research these topics, BBC news articles will be used to help discover how Margret Thatcher changed Britain and its economy. Books such as "No Such Thing as Society" and other online magazines will also be used. This investigation will include an evaluation of the origin, purpose, value, and limitations of the sources used for the research.B.
