INTRODUCTION We have been in the midst of a serious financial crisis for some time and have been looking for a way out. The global economy faced a severe recession, which first manifested itself in developed countries, i.e. the United States and some European countries, and first affected the financial sector, i.e. it started as a money market crisis and then it turned into a banking crisis. due to the fact that banks were unable to find liquidity to survive. This situation did not take long to lead to another more intense one, the collapse of the stock markets. Therefore, the crisis spread to smaller countries which, since they did not produce the products and services imported from abroad, found themselves in immediate need of debt. Now, the crisis we are experiencing has changed shape with the result that all developed countries are in a deep recession, which reduces the production and consumption sectors to very low levels and rapidly increases unemployment. Therefore, as an integral part of the media's formation of public opinion on the financial crisis, the first part provides an overview, – in separate chapters – of the institutions and issues of the media (chapter one) and the financial crisis (chapter two) . Furthermore, in the second part, the relationship of the media and the crisis with society (chapter three) and the political system (chapter four) is explored and modeled, and aspects of the media related to reality are analyzed (chapter five). Furthermore, public opinion and how it is formed through the influence exerted on it by the media is examined (chapter six).
