Teacher Interview1. What inspired you to become a teacher? What drives you to stick with it?Ms. Lippart has always enjoyed working with children, as well as being a leader among people. She never really wanted to work at a desk and sit alone all day; prefers to interact with people. She also has a real passion for teaching and loves seeing the light bulb go on in children's heads when they finally start to understand what is being taught in class. One idea she really likes is how different every day is in teaching. Even though there may be the same products and programs every day, the adventures are always different. So far, Lippart has continued to teach because he loves where he works. She always thought she would teach in an urban school because she grew up in Raleigh, but she absolutely loves Meat Camp and the small, family atmosphere of the school. She likes that this school has very little politics and stress about testing with all the teachers. He says he wouldn't love school as much as if it were just a matter of testing students. One of his favorite parts of being a teacher is being creative every day.2. In your experience, what characteristics help interns be more successful in Block 2? Is there any specific advice you have for me based on previous experiences? The main advice he gave me was to MANAGE TIME. He also said it's important to set goals for yourself and make sure you achieve them. He said that students who achieve goals and complete them are generally much happier and better able to cope with their workload.3. When you've had problems with interns in the past, what tended to cause those problems? How can I avoid......middle of paper......this idea, Ms. Lippart is very willing to answer any questions I have for her about how she taught a lesson or why she grouped students in a certain way. This will be especially helpful when I start planning my lesson. Through his answers I will be able to follow his teaching and have little disturbance in the students' learning environment. This way I have more time to dedicate to creating in-depth and interactive lessons for the students in my class. Overall, I think this interview with Ms. Lippart went really well; I think we're off to a great start to the year. Since Ms. Lippart and I have talked about the expectations and procedures she expects me to follow in the classroom, I can now begin to closely observe how Ms. Lippart teaches and develop my own skills and ideas about how to become a well-rounded educator..
