While we pride ourselves on being honest in our daily lives, relationships, work environments, and moral and ethical standards, it seems we often tell untruths throughout life. Many people will admit to cutting down the cherry tree, but will tell the "white lie" to someone to keep them away from the bitter truth that may cause them distress or discomfort.
