The Miracles of CannabisThere are so many medical advances with cannabis. Cancer patients are finally getting some relief from nausea, among other symptoms, thanks to this well-known and popular drug. Additionally, our soldiers and veterans returning from war overseas can get relief from the PTSD depression they are burdened with on a daily basis. Some even say that if they use it when migraines start, it prevents migraines completely. Cannabis has more medical value than some people realize. Most are quite quick to dismiss the idea that cannabis is valuable to today's pharmaceutical companies, due to the "high" that cannabis creates. Legalizing cannabis would not only help those suffering from chronic pain, but would also provide an alternative to some of the traditional prescription drugs. Cannabis has a wide variety of therapeutic uses including, but not limited to, relief from nausea and weight loss due to AIDS, cancer, hepatitis C, anorexia, reduction of intraocular pressure within the eye, reduction of muscle spasms , as observed in patients with multiple sclerosis and in patients with epilepsy. (noel) Unfortunately, the drug has been proven to effectively treat and help so many people only available in sixteen states, which has led to people suffering without the most effective drugs available, or risking the consequences of obtaining them illegally and ad get a criminal record. The medical benefits that cannabis has to offer are too great to ignore. Cannabis is one of the safest prescription or illegal drugs known to man. No one has ever died from an overdose. Having such a safe drug available, which can effectively treat so many different and serious diseases, is at the heart of the paper, opposing points of view in context. Network. July 25, 2011.
