This story shows that the government is corrupt because it shows an unfair process, racism, being held against your will and not recognizing the right to practice self-defense. Lena was a 44-year-old African American woman living in Randolph County, Georgia. She was disadvantaged, meaning all she knew was hard work and the knowledge that she was living in poverty and desperation.
