The idea of ​​studying the mind and behavior of human beings drew all my academic interests towards psychology major. The area of ​​this scientific field is varied and one of those that interested me the most is counseling psychology. Most of the people who come here for help are lower class, poor or homeless. Through volunteering, I had the opportunity to associate with people in unhealthy physical and mental conditions. These meaningful services remind me day after day of the importance of psychology in this society and what I can do forhelp people. It guided me towards a clearer vision of how I will approach my personality and interests in my future career. Surprisingly, according to the result, I was part of the ESFJ (Extraversion, Sensing, Feeling and Judging) group who are friendly and organized helpers and caregivers who use their traditional beliefs and honestly care about cooperating with other people. My experience working at Guys and St Thomas Hospital further encouraged my keen interest, as I noticed how fortunate we are to have such extensive and free mental health services in this country.
