Topic > A reflection on improvement in reading, writing and learning

Thanks to this course, I have significantly improved my reading, writing and learning! I noticed these improvements several times while writing assignments for other classes, as well as general reading. I focused on my strengths and aimed to correct my weaknesses. This growth and expansion is unique to this semester for me. I have never felt so confident in these skills until completing this course. These skills will follow me into my future career and I appreciate this opportunity. Before this course, I was not good at discovering hidden meanings and ideas in readings and had a lot of grammatical problems. I am now strengthened in both areas, thanks to the ideas and reflections presented throughout the entire semester. Say no to plagiarism. Don't read aloud, rather find the hidden themes and so on in the texts. However, this course required reading and analyzing articles like Fallow's. This weakness has made these writings quite difficult. I had to do a lot of reading and research, however, in doing so, I learned the proper mechanics to complete such tasks. Now I feel confident that I can put the pieces of the puzzle together. I can more easily spot the hidden themes and issues that authors include in their writings. This is a great skill to master and I am very fortunate to have assignments that focus on allowing me to strengthen such weaknesses. Reading is not just about talking, but also about finding ideas and making sense of the materials presented. Reading is essential to the entire process, because once you become familiar with proper reading techniques, you can improve in other areas such as writing as well. Through this course, my writing skills have also improved significantly. I noticed these changes after my reading improvements ended. The two go together and one improves, the other follows. Initially I was afraid to write. It is very difficult to write when English is not your first language. However, now I really enjoy writing and use it as a way to express my thoughts and ideas. Writing is one of the most important skills any student can possess. If someone is good at writing, they can change the world. I noticed that, in my initial writing, I had a lot of grammatical errors. However, these cases are now fewer. Which I feel very proud to say. The grammar is very confusing, however, through revisions and criticism, I learned where my common errors were mostly. It was basically related to tension, to my mistakes, that is. I had trouble deciphering which tense to use in sentences. However, in these cases I improved significantly. Through these improvements I employed a completely new thought process. I've learned that sometimes criticism is necessary. I've learned that we all have weaknesses and they shouldn't bring us down. I've definitely gained a more proactive attitude towards improving things that I've struggled with for a long time. Before this change, I had a negative process. Every time I faced something I struggled with, I immediately feared it. Now, when I think negatively, I can immediately reflect on more positive aspects. Like, how much I've improved in all three of these skills. Please note: this is just an example. Get a custom paper from our expert writers now.
