It is very important for me to continue to improve my knowledge and my development as a leader and manager of a team; it is my role and responsibility to lead the team, the organization I represent and the people. I support this way and I can be a role model for them. In this way I regularly attend training courses to update my knowledge so that I can give the team feedback on the news and changes that will arise from it. I recently attended a PCP training course with all my other colleagues, run by the local council, this training covers many aspects of the PCP and what the council would like to see more of within the proposed context and when we meet people we support the outcome of Metta, because the training was so important that I decided with my colleagues that the best way to provide this information to our staff was to organize several internal training groups on this topic. As a manager and leader it is my duty of care and responsibility to undergo continuous professional development to be capable, competent, informed and skillful towards my role of responsibility. As a manager my role is not just personal development but also to assist others, particularly those under my supervision such as staff, service users and their family members and even the organization I work for. Therefore, to excel and perform my role well or to show best practices, I am always interested in updating my knowledge in the direction of quality care which usually appears through the introduction or modification of laws, standards and policies .
