Imagine a high school student tormented by what he wears, and this doesn't happen once, but it happens frequently. You see him get angry, let his head fall to the ground, and somewhere inside you feel the same pain he's feeling. High school students make rude comments about their classmates' clothing, whether it's their scarf, jacket, or socks; they always have something to say. What better way to solve this situation than to organize uniforms for high school students? The idea of uniforms should be given great consideration to allow students to feel safer at school. Not making students worry about their appearance during school will help them avoid becoming distracted during a lesson. Demand Media states: “One of the major distractions that schools without uniforms are subjected to is students' attention to each other's wardrobes. In schools with a uniform policy the playing field is level” (Spanner n.pag.). Students focus on other people's clothes, both to judge them and to desire them. However, with uniforms, there is no need to covet the clothes of peers, because they wear the same clothing. Of course, students should not need to worry about what they will have to wear to school; they should instead learn to appreciate themselves as a person. They get so caught up in the idea of “I have to wear this” or “No one wears this anymore” that they forget to be themselves; they are forgetting who they really are. They become stressed; they become anxious about something that should not have such great importance in their life. Providing uniforms to high schools will reduce the stress and anxiety that has built up in students' bodies. Not or...... half of paper ......rents a low figure of two hundred and forty-nine dollars. The clothing is durable and can be worn for a long time. Students get angry when judged for how they dress, so why not make things easier and provide uniforms? Worrying about how they dress is a huge distraction during school for students. Placing importance on your appearance puts stress on your body and this is not the right path to take for a student who is trying to succeed in school. There is a slightly high percentage of how many schools require uniforms and this brings a sense of unity among students. We should take charge of this situation and make school a safer environment for students. There can never be an argument that schools need to warn their students that it is a safe place and providing uniforms is a great way to start. Accept the challenge, the uniform challenge.
