I'm not the kind of person who likes to sit around all day doing nothing. I often felt bored sitting at my desk with nothing to do. This is a problem for me. Luckily there is always something to do around the hill, you just need to find it. Attending the daily sessions and committee hearings was a good way to find something to do and learn about the key issues facing our government. The in-house lectures, offered by many congress members, were a way to learn about the lives of many members and their journey to the congress. Since there may not be constant work within the office, Capitol Hill is a wealth of knowledge and there is always something to learn
