Actually, the antichrists who developed out of the schism diligently tried to follow the word of God through the Bible, but due to some misinterpretation they were led astray. Humans may have been deceived into becoming an antichrist because of original sin, or perhaps because of the deception of the devil in an attempt to appropriate the glory of God. However, this does not mean that all antichrists are one antichrist . This is a fact that Christians must remember. An antichrist could be an individual who follows God completely at all times, but does not accept Jesus as Christ because he has been misled. When a soul has been led astray, the Christian community should not fear and treat the person as if they were the devil, but instead the Christian community, as suggested by David Jackman, needs to hear God's truth. “Historically this has provided the motivation for the mission is given to the Christian Church" (70). This passage tells us that the belief systems that were created through the schism may have some truth in their teachings. Christians do not even need to reintroduce “the appalling horrors of the crusaders” (Jackman, 70) by seeking to abolish anyone who goes against God. This means, however, that millions of people who are entangled in false religions and ideologies, are themselves trapped in false systems, they desperately need to hear God's truth.
