The author clearly wants to convey his own cultural views on maintaining his own cultural identity and values. Achebe himself was very passionate about traditional African culture and world religions. Chinua Achebe exposed the different structural characteristics of Things Fall Apart to highlight the end of Ibo culture after the arrival of the British colonials.
