FBI Agents FBI Agents are special agents capable of understanding the minds of criminals and psychotics and saving those who put them in danger. They have a higher rank than a police officer and deal with serial killers. FBI agents keep the streets clean of psychopaths who are intent on harming others. Special agents are often engaged in covert operations to observe criminals over time until they have enough evidence to arrest and prosecute them. Special agents provide protection to people and manage security. They pursue undercover targets and while undercover develop relationships with informants. The officers examine the documents and, if necessary, can issue subpoenas (“Criminal Investigators”). Special agents obtain warrants to collect and secure evidence. Sometimes officers have to write detailed case reports. Special agents must investigate crimes and arrest people who do wrong (“Police and Investigators”). The job of a police officer or detective can be very stressful and dangerous. They may come into contact with unpleasant and sometimes horrific events (“FBI Agents” 306). They also have one of the highest injury and illness rates of all jobs (“Police and Detective”). Special agents must keep all cases confidential, even with relatives and spouses. FBI agents have a lot of responsibility, respect and have a different adventure every day. At any time and in any place they can be called upon to solve a case ("FBI Agents" 306). Police and special agents can be called to work at any time, almost no matter how important what you are involved in in your personal life. The great thing is that most agents can wear plain clothes to work. To be a special agent you must have at least a bachelor's degree in... half of paper... in today's society because it keeps murderers and people with intent to hurt others in prison. I would recommend this job to others only if they really care about the job because agents have other people's lives in their hands, so you have to be careful and very focused. Special agents are very useful to society. Works Cited “Criminal Investigators and Special Agents.” Pennsylvania career zone. Pennsylvania Department of Education, n.d. Web. March 18, 2014.
