Interactive Society Everyone has seen that boy with music blaring out of his purple earphones, the girl texting on the phone, and the teenager on the phone communicating with society. As a teenager, I constantly use technology in my daily life. Either at school or outside of school. I feel that teenagers rely so much on today's technology that it could have harmful effects on teenagers. Today's youth are constantly engaged in technological progress. technology promotes continuous communication and instant gratification. whether via mobile phones, gaming systems, laptops or iPods. Are these technological advances a good thing? The growth of technology has negatively affected the social interactions of today's youth because it isolates individuals from reality, hinders communication and affects adolescents' ability to learn. The ability for people to surround themselves with the familiarity of their place of comfort using technology is appealing. because it rarely provides the user with something unexpected or unfamiliar. Being constantly cut off from personal interactions and new experiences due to a technological device. A generation with substandard social skills is emerging. If we don't have to face reality by experiencing new things, creating personal relationships, and solving problems, then we will never be able to function as Humans. Technology hinders personal communication, which negatively impacts our lives. Although “our culture heralds the Internet as a technological marvel, there are indications that Internet use has a negative influence on individuals and their social skills” (Article 1). Data shows that those who use the Internet often spend more than 100 minutes less time with ... paper ...... and bad manners.'” New research taken from the article “effects of the Internet on society” it also shows that the average teenager sends about 100 text messages a day. This also affects teenagers in the real world. Teens these days have a hard time getting jobs because they aren't used to small talk and providing accurate details. Most people recognize that the advancement of technology has had a negative impact on our social interactions because it detaches us from what is happening around us, hinders communication and spreads the concept of damaging the learning ability of adolescents who must be able to use technology without allowing it to influence social interactions, particularly for those who are easily influenced during our youth. Our world must learn to embrace technology without allowing it to negatively impact the creation of functional adults in society.
