The first level is nurseries. Here nurseries are the equivalent of nursery schools and children are taught basic English. The second level is kindergarten. Children here will learn English and Arabic, as well as the respective religion. The third level is Primary. Primary school lasts six years and can include a variety of different study programmes. Different programs have different school policies, such as start times and uniforms. Most primary schools in Dubai teach English, but many others teach foreign languages such as Russian, Arabic and Hindi. The fourth and final level is secondary. For us this is equivalent to high school. Programs here range from American to Indian. You have to spend three years in secondary school. Both primary and secondary education are provided free of charge to all citizens of the United Arab Emirates
