The purest form of French is spoken there, and although it would be difficult for me to understand it, I think it would be the most useful place for a former French student to help hone my skills linguistics. The Loire is also a wonderful city, with tall houses and village-like cottages, castles and hundreds of fields and vineyards to stroll and relax in. I would also like to take a few weeks or months and live in a village in the Loire or in an apartment in Paris. In France it is not very common to own a car. People travel every day on foot to local markets in their neighborhoods or by bus. I think it's a nice way to enjoy the view of the city and get a breath of fresh air every day. I would also like to go to a cafe every day and eat lots of delicious French dishes like macaroons, baguettes, crepes, croissants and canapés and eat every single cheese there is in France because I love cheese! I would also like to take time to walk around different neighborhoods and cities in France every day just to walk the streets and walk in a park instead of seeing a landmark every day. I like how people in France still take the time to do this, just to walk and visit a park. Here in the United States, we only leave our home if we need to go somewhere, like work or school.
