The study provides the example for the question: What would be your top three needs to help you succeed in the nurse manager role? The data showed that there were three categories that emerged consistently. These categories were: 1) Developing leadership skills, 2) Learning to manage the behaviors of others, and 3) Creating a healthy work environment. Each of these categories had a theme. For leadership skill development, the themes that emerged were, critical thinking (n=1), prioritization or multitasking (n=4), communication skills (n=5), delegation (n=6), and knowledge of their resources (n =7). The number n assigned to the topics comes from the number of times this response has been submitted. For the remaining survey objectives, responses were similarly categorized, grouped and numbered based on the frequency of themes. The explanation of the data and results of the study was very thorough and was explained in an organized and direct manner. The results gathered from the survey were extremely similar and consistent among different nurse managers
