Elsa ran as fast as she could. He couldn't take it anymore. She had to be alone for once. Ever since the Great Thaw, she had been the constant focus of her people's attention. She was the queen, though, and that was to be expected. He just didn't know it would get this big. There was no room for privacy and she had to dedicate herself to her duties for the good of her country. There were almost no breaks, except for the times when he went to his room. It was a short period of peaceful isolation, to breathe and think. This was almost constantly interrupted by interruptions from his sister, Anna, knocking on the door. Elsa had promised her sister that she would stop withdrawing and that she would spend more time with her to recover her lost childhood. She never expected Anna to take her so seriously. He would let Anna in and hide his emotions, as always. They would talk about anything and everything. Although it was exhausting for Elsa, she almost didn't mind the interruptions. It distracted her from all her duties and the thoughts that lay in her restless mind. Hide, don't hear. She said this to herself as she stared at the wide smile on her sister's face. Don't show it. She couldn't let Anna in, for fear she would judge her like everyone else. She couldn't let Anna see her like everyone else does. A monster. This only encourages Elsa to keep running, despite the sounds of her sister calling after her. Anna was her only remaining family, as their parents died years ago in a terrible shipwreck at sea. Making sure her sister was as far away from her as possible was the only way to keep Anna safe. Safe from the cursed powers he possesses. Elsa feels a pang of...... middle of paper......ow when she's actually wondering what her sister's condition is. Elsa has decided to transfer her emotions elsewhere, so she can focus her attention on what is happening now. As much as she hated the thought of the accusatory stares that would be directed her way if she returned to the room, she had to find a way to handle it. For his sister. True to her word, Elsa changed her outfit with a wave of her hand, forming an ice blue ensemble. Her gloves, which her sister had told her not to wear, lay next to a dresser near the bed. She walked over, picked them up and slipped them into her hands. The gloves gave her confidence that she wouldn't lose control. He slowly walked out of his room. When she reached the ballroom, she held her head high and looked ahead as she crossed the room to her sister. She felt many pairs of eyes following her.
