How you approach each problem is what gives people character or drains them of character. Bartz had a strong character from the moment he realized he wanted to make something of himself. Morrow challenges people to think about how we individually define success and its outcomes. Everyone defines success differently, for some it could be business success or personal success, for Bartz it was all success (Morrow, 2012). Bartz has commendable dedication to all of his goals. She has found a way to balance work, family and herself throughout her life. The fact that Bartz goes after what he wants is what makes it all possible. Success doesn't just come to you, it's something you chase. Starting the chase is the first step in balancing your life's dreams, goals and aspirations. Even though he faced adversity and challenges in almost every aspect of his life, he persevered. Not only did she do it, but she succeeded and became a role model for many women and this makes her a true hero. After studying Carol Bartz I learned many things such as determination. Bartz never gave up, no matter the circumstances. He worked hard in everything he did and it paid off. What really made an impact on me was how he continued his life even after his mother died when he was so young. He didn't let that interfere with anything, nor did he use it as an excuse. Instead of using this tragedy as a setback, she became a stronger woman who carried the rest of her forward
