Gifted and talented education is often forgotten in our country. This is not done on purpose but due to lack of information and resources. Teachers must be able to understand and identify gifted and talented students by familiarizing themselves with and working with parents, guardians, and other educators. Keeping in mind that a classroom is a spontaneous place with unique and energetic students, each classroom is made up of a combination of individuals who help create the subjective nature of the classroom. When teaching, the reality is that no two students are the same in terms of learning and no two classrooms are the same, which creates the challenge of establishing an effective classroom management strategy. It is important for teachers to understand that a classroom is a place that keeps you on your toes and that it will be easier to try to manage the classroom instead of trying to control it and the students. I see my teaching role as guiding my students by managing and encouraging them to learn through exploration, which will help me discover what works and what doesn't work for each student in the classroom. I would rather manage my classroom by exploring, rather than dictating what works best for each student, because what I think works may not work for most students. It is also important for teachers to remember the different theories presented regarding the classroom and more specifically behavior management.
