Immature and Mature Bullying The need for dominant power is irresistible. Children and adults experience abuse, harassment and stress every day due to the desire to seek power over others. The need to feel like you dominate everyone, like you're better than them, can sometimes be an unstoppable force. Children at all grade levels are bullied every day because they simply want to fit in with the most popular group or make new friends. Just as many adult bullies continue to feel the lust for power, both physically and mentally, and the intent to hurt or cause pain. I believe that bullying needs to be stopped not only in the workplace but also in our children's education because it causes stress at all levels and could potentially lead to today's youth feeling unsure of themselves.
