I knew that sometimes the conversation would deviate from the set questionnaire, but I wanted to have a set guideline to keep myself and the conversation on track. I found it easier to direct the questions towards the interviewee's interest rather than stay focused on the task. I enjoy socializing with others, so when the conversation drifted to an area I wasn't planning on evaluating, I followed her lead and dived deeper into what seemed to be pertinent to her life and concerns . This helped me provide personalized care and health promotion plans to the interviewee. Another strategy I used to keep the conversation focused was choosing to be in an environment where the interviewee felt comfortable. This allowed the individual to be more attentive and relaxed during the interview. Furthermore, I asked the person to choose a quiet environment so that no interruptions could interrupt our interview. I believe that my preparation and the environment allowed for success
