Imagine if you could not and your husband could not conceive one or more children for medical reasons and you discovered that there is an alternative to the problem using in vitro fertilization (in vitro fertilization) . I believe that IVF is the limit of the appropriate use of reproductive technology and genetic engineering. Doing more, such as pre-embryonic screening for genetic defects, for gender selection, genetic engineering to alter the implantation of genes (BRCA, cystic fibrosis and others) is unacceptable because parents ask for a “perfect child ” and before we know that parents will want to choose the color of their child's eyes and hair and his height. It is also wrong because doctors and scientists essentially take the Lord's work into their own hands. As Psalm 139:14 says, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know it very well. We should not listen to the world and definitely not let them define us, but hold to every little bit of truth in the Bible like Psalm 139:14. IVF involves taking the egg and sperm and putting them in a test tube and basically creating a baby outside the body in a laboratory and then they take the embryo and put it into the uterus (IVF). One of the reasons women use IVF is because their fallopian tubes are damaged and they wish to become pregnant, thus reducing the need to undergo surgery. Through the IVF process couples can have children of their own and it helps clients learn how to prevent birth defects. IVF would also advance medicine in general and could help with different types of treatments (Americans).
