Over the years I have read an enormous amount of novels, plays and other forms of written literature which have given me different tastes and particular favoritism towards certain genres and authors. I've read literature that should have been the definition of mediocre, and alternatively, I've also read literature that was so similar to great works of art that it had to have its own exhibition in the Louvre! I'm incredibly specious when it comes to those who I think are exceptional authors. I consider Stephanie Meyer of the Twilight saga a hack since her characters are stereotyped to the breaking point and are full of clichés when it should be a criminal crime. Charles Dickens is the exact opposite of Meyers as with his Tales of Two Cities he weaved a story that is captivating to the core with characters who are complex souls. Apparently among all the authors and skilled authors there is one gentleman who stands out as a visionary whose mind pulsated with creative genius whose work transcends the annals of time, that man is the one and only pioneering William Shakespeare! To truly understand how magnificent Shakespeare's works really are we must travel to a bygone era of the Elizabethan era. Let the irony be duly noted that, regardless of Shakespeare's popularity and how his most loyal fans can recite his famous plays by heart, we barely know the man. All historians and Shakespeareans must insist that the man is fundamentally legal, ecclesiastical documents and of course many world-famous works. There are notable gaps in the chronology of Shakespeare's life which lead to an abundance of speculation about his life. Shakespeare didn't even have his own dairy or diary, which means we all just have to speculate about the staff... middle of the paper. .....over the years. Stephanie Myers essentially used aspects of A Midsummer Night's Dream as a template in her Twilight saga. Shakespeare transcends the typical author who fades away with time as he is now ingrained in global pop culture for years to come. This man Shakespeare influenced me throughout my life even when I had not yet read his works. From “To be or not to be: that is the question” ~Hamlet to Romeo and Juliet” O Romeo, Romeo, why art thou Romeo? Deny your father and reject your name; Or if you don't want to, swear to me my love and I will no longer be a Capulet. I seriously know those lines by heart because I heard them growing up from family, friends, and of course, my beloved television! Shakespeare inspires me to be as good as him and maybe even better when it comes to writing poetry or writing anything because I want to leave a wonderful legacy like him!
