Audrey Hepburn is a name remembered by many, and for various reasons. Many remember her for her roles in Breakfast at Tiffany's and Roman Holiday. Some remember her only because she was said to be one of the most naturally beautiful women in history. What very few remember about her, unfortunately, are her charitable acts. Audrey Hepburn was not only a beautiful and talented actress, but she was also much more, such as her big and generous heart, which led her to help many charities, and her generous nature continued after her death . Hepburn was born on May 4, 1929, under the name Audrey Kathleen Ruston. She was born in the Ixelles neighborhood of Brussels, Belgium. His parents, Joseph Victor Anthony Ruston, a Nazi sympathizer, and Baroness Ella van Heemstra were members of the British Union of Fascists. After van Heemstra caught him in bed with the nanny, Ruston quickly fled. In the 1960s, Hepburn again located him through the Red Cross, and although he remained emotionally detached, she supported him financially until his death.
