Recent advances have allowed communication to advance. For example, many different options have become available for communication such as texting, calling or video chatting. There is a fee to use the services for texting and calling, while video chat is free as long as you have Internet. These services are used to communicate over long distances and can help a person stay in touch with family. Each was designed with the person's convenience and comfort in mind. These services have some drawbacks but have more positive aspects than these drawbacks. If you are someone who likes to visit relatives and prefers old-fashioned conversation, these services are not for you. If you like to stay in touch with someone on a daily basis, but can't afford daily travel, then one of these services might be your cup of tea. But it all comes back to convenience and the type of interaction you prefer. All these types of communication have advantages and disadvantages. And I'm happy that technology has improved communication in the way we use it
