Donald's condition can be described as a long-term, constant and sometimes disabling condition; which can be described as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) is the anxiety disorder that affects approximately 3.1% of American adults aged 18 years and older (2013, National Institute of Mental Health). Symptoms of GAD The symptoms you face during GAD include: worrying all the time, irritation, feeling of insecurity, depression, dizziness, tension, restlessness, sleep disturbances, headaches, mental disorders, nausea and muscle pain. It happens continuously for more than 6 months. Symptoms of worry vary throughout General Anxiety Disorder, worrying about family, finances and constantly thinking about the negative outcomes of any action. Although worrying about the family is normal, in the case of GAD the patient thinks all day about his family's way of life, his future, his finances and calculates the negative results. Major Problems Donald manages and addresses problems with concerns. Like there were a number of factors that were presented to him after he got married to his wife. Since marriage, many factors contribute to accumulating his worries, such as: restricted financial conditions, security of his job and his future and his work performance, problems with house and car, children, as well as health of his parents. . His total worries last for a long period of time, i.e. over 6 months. He was constantly worried about all kinds of issues that he faced throughout his life. Continuously experiences feelings of irritation and tiredness most of the time at home and at work.
