Topic > Violence in Sinaloa - 858

With the world we live in today it is difficult to get away from all the crime and violence that occurs every day. Some places more than others and a great example of this if you were to compare a place like Hawaii to a violence infested place like Sinaloa, a state in Mexico. This is the home of one of the most dangerous and powerful drug trafficking cartels the world has seen to date. The state has long been known as the heart of Mexico's smuggling trade. This region is located in the northwestern part of Mexico and essentially borders the Gulf of California. They are believed to have spread from nearby West Coast states to all of the Southern states and extended as far south as Chicago. The whole cartel started with small families farming, going from smuggling to being involved in drug trafficking. By the late 1960s, moving into the 1970s, bulk marijuana trafficking had begun. This was the beginning of what would become the most powerful gang and cartel in Mexico. Everything is controlled by one man, who goes by the name of "El Chapo" Guzman. Considered the most wanted man on the planet by the US government, he was given a $5 million reward leading to his arrest. As anyone would assume just by reading how wanted their leader is, this cartel is a force to be reckoned with. Most of their murders involve beheading the people they intend to kill or placing the bodies in acid to leave no evidence. All. In recent times, they have had a lot of bloodshed for control of the territory of Ciudad Juarez against the Juárez Cartel. Not only have they become stronger and more powerful over the years, but they have grown...... ......government. The victim of the enormous amount of money devoted to the so-called “War on Drugs” is our own economy. The money could easily be spent elsewhere, but the United States continues to spend more in hopes of winning this war. Remember the name of this cartel because I will repeat their name once again, the Sinaloa Cartel because they are considered the most powerful cartel in the world. the Western Hemisphere. They control almost if not all of the marijuana and other illicit drugs headed into the United States through Mexico. The cartel's strategy is to “bribe for bullets,” in other words, use money to get what it wants instead of using violence. This has proven to work very well, as they have infiltrated the Mexican government, police, and military with their methods. All overlooked and orchestrated by one man "El Chapo" Guzman, who is the most wanted man by US authorities.
