The process of using sounds, signs, words, or behaviors to exchange information or convey thoughts and feelings with another person or group is communication (Quintanilla & Wahl, 2014). Demonstrative communication can send messages in a form of nonverbal, nonwritten communication such as body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions that can have a positive or negative outcome that influences an individual's listening or response with the exchange of information. Society uses verbal communication as a major part of one's life, and demonstrative communication accentuates verbal communication. Facial expressions, body language and tone of voice are some nonverbal signals that characterize approximately 55% of nonverbal communication (Quintanilla & Wahl, 2014). People are visual in society and tend to believe what is seen rather than what is expressed verbally. During a meeting, someone used a firm handshake, dressed appropriately, and displayed satisfactory behavior toward an employer or future clients. Another effective communication is when a manager can express empathy using gestures such as a smile, gaze, body position, and hand movement during an evaluation. Using KEYS strategies for nonverbal cues can have a positive effect on demonstrative communication (Quintanilla & Wahl, 2014). The four KEYS consist of: know yourself, evaluate the professional context, your communicative interaction occurs, take a step back and reflect. The first strategy is to know yourself through awareness of your non-verbal cues which are created unconsciously because a person may not be aware of his worst non-verbal cues at the time of conversation. The next approach, assessing the professional perspective, involves a person measuring suitable nonverbal cues... center of the paper ...... communicating further respectable responses and feedback to the sender of the information. Demonstrative communication is used every day with actions used involuntarily for that reason. The actions possibly used are the way of laughing, gesturing, facial expressions or performing one of the many demonstrative communication methods (Quintanilla & Wahl, 2014). Listening to and responding to demonstrative communication can have its advantages and disadvantages due to misinterpretations or misunderstandings or understandings. Society needs to listen to nonverbal communication as part of one's life, while demonstrative communication emphasizes the verbal communication that a person uses every day.
