In the examples listed above, these exosystem factors could cause forces that could shape family attitudes, influence peers, force changes in the school, church, or neighborhood. Macrosystem. The macrosystem is the outermost shell of the model that models the exosystem. These broad forces include culture, values, structures, institutions that create the environment in which the exosystem operates.
