Topic > Diverse populations or nondominant social systems

Diverse populations are people in nondominant social systems who have traditionally been understudied and underserved. The understanding that all people's origins are different, made up of different people or things from each other. With a diverse population, the effect of people's attitude, values, beliefs, social, cultural, racial and ethnic background ties into family origin, from which we learn about areas that pose a problem for the individual and this which is less important to the individual. Taking each area and exploring it, focusing on how I incorporate and understand how they measure up in my life. Major opinions in society, to name a few, are race, religion, and gender. These issues are necessary to control inappropriate opinions and enable every person to improve himself regardless of his age, race, religion and sexual origin. The area that concerns me the most is belonging to a minority group, a woman and age. Since my career, when I was in my twenties, the knowledge I have gained in my life has been influenced by the knowledge of older individuals and my gender. Defining aging is simply a reflection of the changes that occur throughout our lives. Let's grow. We develop. We reach maturity. The excitement of aging begins as young people with greater independence. By middle age, you notice visible changes such as slowing or declining physical abilities in wrinkles and gray hair. Then reaching the age of the elderly leads to an increase in illnesses and disabilities. With this mourning of the aging of a diverse population has been missing the state of maturity of how, with their experience, we can better learn from those individuals who have dedicated their lives to learning, studying and sharing what they have realized... in the middle of paper ......kes and I learned from them, I adapt to the constantly changing society, but above all I learned from others who I grew up with and who shaped me into who I am Today. As a member of society, I live in a constantly changing diverse population. As a middle-aged woman, I am influenced by society through the social and cultural norms that have imposed rules on our society. Through society's norms my attitude, beliefs and values are shaped to influence my life, my family and my relationships and work experiences. Ethically and racially I am white, culturally I am Southern, and socially I am a woman and these are major factors that have both hindered and benefited my life, how I learn, and what I do. Population diversity is the melting pot of everything that makes up a person's mental and physical being and unites him with everyone in a society.
