The “Baby-Moses Law” provides that mothers can leave their babies in designated “safe” locations (e.g. fire stations, churches, etc.) and Children will be taken care of, no questions asked. This is safe for the mother and safer for the baby (than being thrown in a dumpster, or worse). If you don't follow these suggested guidelines, where legal immunity is already within reach, then you deserve to pay a price, legally. I'm not sure that should be your life, but even in these women's desperate moments, I feel that if you're not abiding by the "Baby-Moses law" then you definitely should be.
