Different cultures and different historical periods construct gender differently. Due to the social construction of gender, gender always places women below men of the same race and class. The rich details of historical and field studies have given the idea that violence is always related to masculinities. Men are always referred to as the object of “violence against women” when the phrase “violence against women” is mentioned. Male privilege has existed because of multicultural cultural masculinities. As a result, the growth of violence against women has increased as unequal relations between the two genders have lasted for varying periods. Women should seek different skills to deal with and overcome violence in order to protect them. Masculinities represent the anticipated understanding of the male sexual role. Due to the development of humans, males were the main force of an army, but females had to be a caring and supportive character; males have progressively become a powerful role. Some related statistics show that it is possible to find more than one type of masculinity within a given cultural context and institution. However, there are different definitions based on what it means to be a man in different cultural contexts around the world. For example, hegemonic, wartime masculinity is generally associated with the stereotype of men acting as defenders of freedom, power and honour, but women remain in traditional, supportive, symbolic, repressed roles. In other words, hegemonic masculinity has developed to the point of maximum power, and it also means that masculinity is hegemonic. According to RW Connell's article, “Masculinity and Globalization,” she extensively explains masculinities… center of paper… children. Women are not paid much attention when it comes to positions of power, economic and political roles. Even today it is a male world; women must fight for equality to demonstrate that the female role is not a weak role. By referring to domestic violence against women in Crenshaw's article, the idea was given that women are generally viewed beneath men as women are dependent and powerless. Women's dependency somehow leads to violence against themselves by men. The development of human beings has handed down the concept that masculinity is the most influential force. To eliminate traditional anti-gender thoughts, the best way is to address feminist protections against women. Refer to the articles by Crenshaw and Lorber, they indicate that there are various types of government associations that attempt to defend women by creating laws.
